Lifeguard

Role Objective

The lifeguard role is critical for ensuring the safety of all guests and maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming atmosphere around all pool and recreation areas. This position demands constant alertness, quick emergency response capabilities, and assistance with pool maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain uninterrupted vigilance over pool activities to avert potential incidents.
• Act promptly during emergencies, administering first aid or CPR as needed.
• Comply with all established safety protocols and policies without exception.
• Conduct thrice daily water quality assessments and adjust chemical levels accordingly.
• Keep detailed records while monitoring the proper operation of filtration systems.
• Perform routine pool cleaning including vacuuming, skimmer maintenance, filter backwashing, and deck cleanliness.
• Welcome guests courteously and ensure adherence to the sign-in process.
• Arrange and manage poolside furniture and towel distribution efficiently.
• Provide support in gym operations when required and actively promote recreational services available to guests.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess a valid Swimming Pool Lifeguard License.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is mandatory.
• Fluent English communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Physical fitness, alertness, and a neat personal appearance are essential.
• Prior hospitality or recreational sector experience is considered advantageous.
