Role Overview

The Logistics Manager will leverage over five years of experience to manage supply chain operations across Saudi Arabia, focusing on customs clearance, seaport management, and land border freight coordination. This position entails navigating a matrixed corporate environment with frequent travel throughout the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle import activities ensuring strict adherence to Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.
• Supervise complex port operations and facilitate clearance of shipments through land border customs efficiently.
• Apply Incoterms 2020 accurately to reduce risk exposure and optimize logistics expenses.
• Address and resolve customs delays, duty disagreements, and documentation issues with governmental authorities.
• Work collaboratively across multiple teams including sales, procurement, and legal within a matrix organizational structure.
• Maintain transparent tracking systems for real-time shipment visibility among regional stakeholders.
• Guarantee compliance with international trade laws across all regional supply chain operations.
• Conduct regional travel up to 20% to audit vendors and alleviate operational constraints.
• Establish and nurture relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents, and port officials.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in logistics and international trade.
• Demonstrated success working within international or matrixed corporate frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related discipline.
• Expertise with Saudi Customs systems such as Fasah and ZATCA.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sea freight documentation including Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and commercial invoices.
• Advanced proficiency with global Incoterms regulations.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid passport with readiness to undertake frequent travel across the Middle East.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure port environments.
