Logistics & Procurement Coordinator

Role Overview

ABBA Engineering is seeking a Logistics & Procurement Coordinator to support major maintenance, shutdowns, and project delivery across Western Australia. Based at our Kalgoorlie workshop, this full-time residential position operates Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 4:00pm, providing a competitive salary package plus superannuation and a residential allowance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities including raising purchase orders and sourcing urgent materials.
• Receive and process deliveries, maintaining inventory records within Simpro software.
• Issue stock, consumables, and equipment to workshop teams and coordinate freight for project and client sites.
• Prepare materials and equipment for shutdowns and project mobilisations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve shortages and delivery delays while conducting regular stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, and regional teams to ensure material availability for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Provide procurement and logistics assistance across regional operations during peak periods or absences.

Candidate Attributes and Experience

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, or supply chain within mining, engineering, construction, maintenance, manufacturing, or similar industrial settings.
• Familiarity with shutdown or project mobilization support is highly valued.
• Hold a valid Forklift Licence and MR Driver's Licence.
• Skilled in using ERP or inventory management systems, with Simpro experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.

Additional Information

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–4:00pm.
• The role requires onsite presence at the Kalgoorlie workshop with the benefit of returning home every night.
• Competitive salary package adjusted to experience and includes superannuation and residential allowances; relocation assistance may be available for Kalgoorlie hires.
