About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join as a Member of Technical Staff, Forward Deployed, mainly based in Washington, D.C., working in a hybrid setting. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range between 350,000 and 500,000 USD annually. The role involves direct collaboration with partners on sensitive and high-impact projects involving advanced AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain robust data pipelines essential for model training, evaluation, and research processes.
• Create and manage reinforcement learning environments to support experimentation and training activities.
• Design, develop, and scale model inference frameworks to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Implement and support software development kits and integrations across cutting-edge AI platforms.
• Build sophisticated agentic systems leveraging modern large language model architectures, ensuring these systems meet stringent security and reliability standards.
• Work closely with forward-deployed partners addressing critical and sensitive use cases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Python engineer with comprehensive project ownership from inception to deployment.
• Expertise with large language models or agentic systems, demonstrated through engagement with tools like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Experience in constructing and maintaining data pipelines along with machine learning infrastructure.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning workflows or simulation environments.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and scalable inference mechanisms.
• Ability to operate effectively in environments requiring high security and reliability.
