Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Maintenance Storekeeper to join our team. This role involves managing maintenance inventory, ensuring parts and supplies are available, supporting maintenance operations, and maintaining a safe and organized storeroom. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management of maintenance parts, tools, and equipment to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure availability.
• Receive, inspect, properly store, and issue maintenance materials while keeping detailed usage records.
• Manage procurement activities including placing orders, monitoring deliveries, and liaising with suppliers to fulfill maintenance requirements.
• Facilitate timely access to critical spare parts and assist in planning and controlling inventory for maintenance operations.
• Perform pickups as needed to support the supply chain.
• Ensure the storeroom remains safe, orderly, and clean, adhering to company policies on safety, housekeeping, and inventory management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or maintenance storeroom roles preferred.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and inventory control systems is advantageous.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license and willingness to travel for parts pickup.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is considered an asset.
• Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Effective problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with maintenance personnel, vendors, and operations teams.
• Physical fitness to meet job demands, including lifting over 50 pounds, bending, twisting, climbing into transport trucks, and enduring prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Demands

• Capability to lift, push, and pull weights exceeding 50 pounds.
• Required to perform bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and leaning movements during job tasks.
• Climbing in and out of transport vehicles is necessary.
• Extended durations of sitting, standing, and walking are part of the routine.

• The position offers an hourly wage of $26.06, with overtime pay applicable after 40 hours per week.
