Position Overview
The Manager of Internal Communications is tasked with formulating and executing a robust internal communication strategy that promotes employee engagement, reinforces the corporate culture, and aligns with ADNOC Distribution’s vision and strategic goals. This position ensures clear communication across various platforms, supports transparency, and advocates initiatives that emphasize the company's core values and employee propositions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive internal communications framework and annual schedule that aligns with company goals and values.
- Identify and enhance communication channels to maximize organizational reach, engagement, and message clarity.
- Set governance policies for internal communications to guarantee consistency, precision, and alignment with corporate messaging.
- Ensure timely delivery of crucial information to employees to foster organizational openness and trust.
- Continuously analyze and improve internal communication strategies based on employee feedback and evolving business requirements.
- Drive initiatives to boost employee engagement and reinforce company culture and values.
- Create and uphold a unified internal corporate narrative consistent with strategic priorities and leadership perspective.
- Plan and implement communication efforts for significant organizational initiatives, including culture transformation and strategic programs.
- Collaborate with Human Capital to promote employee engagement campaigns, recognition initiatives, and change management projects.
- Assess and report engagement metrics, using these insights to refine communication effectiveness.
- Supervise the development and delivery of compelling content across multiple platforms such as intranet, newsletters, emails, and digital tools.
- Guarantee clarity, accuracy, and brand compliance in all internal communications.
- Manage schedules for internal events, town halls, and leadership communications to encourage connection and openness.
- Utilize digital platforms and innovative tools to improve communication impact and employee interaction.
- Monitor the effectiveness of various communication channels and implement enhancements to increase reach and engagement.
- Lead and mentor the internal communications team, providing coaching and development opportunities to fulfill organizational requirements.
- Design and enforce crisis communication strategies to facilitate prompt and accurate messaging during emergencies.
- Work closely with the crisis management team to coordinate internal messages with overall corporate response plans.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on internal communications matters, offering guidance and insights.
- Promote a culture of ongoing improvement within the team by adopting industry best practices and innovative communication techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a closely related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience in internal communications, ideally within the energy or mobility industries.
- Proven expertise in crafting and deploying internal communication strategies.
- Strong leadership abilities and team management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across various departments including business units, Human Resources, and corporate headquarters.
