About the Role
Golden State Warriors seeks a Manager of Partnership Development to manage multiple corporate partner accounts, orchestrating innovative marketing activations. This role involves close collaboration across departments and nurturing relationships with both new and existing partners to support partnership growth efforts. The position reports to the Director of Partnership Development and is based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and fulfill partnership agreements by working with internal teams to guarantee high-quality service and delivery of all contractual obligations within budget limits.
- Establish and maintain strong connections with corporate partners and their agencies.
- Develop and deploy inventive marketing and activation strategies that align with partner needs, leveraging research, analytics, and market insights to achieve goals and ensure complete client satisfaction.
- Identify and propose new activation opportunities, actively promoting renewals and revenue growth through strategic sales efforts.
- Manage all partnership-related information using a CRM platform.
- Prepare and present reports detailing execution outcomes and sales presentations.
- Coordinate and execute events, promotions, and VIP experiences.
- Participate in Warriors home games and special events to support partnership activities.
- Explore and promote opportunities across all Golden State properties to assigned accounts.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least five years of experience in corporate sponsorship management or account management, preferably within the sports industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools.
- Strong ability to cultivate positive working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on service and issue resolution.
- Knowledgeable in social media marketing and digital platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and multitasking capabilities in a dynamic environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary of approximately $94,500 with additional bonus and commission potential resulting in around $140,000 OTE.
