Role Summary
This individual contributor position suits a proactive marketer who understands the in-person, relationship-driven nature of film and TV. The role requires taking initiative to drive digital marketing, social media, community building, and event management with agility and constant momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Everyset's social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X), including content creation, posting, and engagement in an industry-aligned voice.
- Produce swift, authentic content such as short videos, behind-the-scenes features, customer highlights, and memes prioritizing volume and speed over polish.
- Design and execute scrappy digital campaigns (email, paid social, landing pages), iterating based on performance data.
- Organize and oversee full execution of in-person events like mixers, dinners, panels, trade shows, and on-set activations, handling logistics, marketing, follow-up, and event facilitation.
- Attend productions and industry events in Los Angeles to cultivate relationships with assistant directors, producers, points of contact, and background talent.
- Develop and maintain an Everyset community through user groups, referral programs, and brand advocates.
- Innovate with low-cost guerrilla marketing tactics to stir buzz aligned with industry culture.
- Leverage events and relationships to generate sales leads and support pipeline development.
- Create and distribute timely content that harnesses cultural and industry moments immediately.
- Utilize AI tools daily for content generation, video editing, design, emailing, research, and automation to enhance productivity.
- Continuously experiment with new technologies and integrate successful tools into workflow.
- Monitor engagement, community expansion, event participation, lead generation, and pipeline impact, providing straightforward reporting and rapid adjustments.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 6 years of practical experience in digital marketing, social media, community, or event marketing, ideally in startups, entertainment, or agencies.
- Hands-on contributor who personally crafts posts, edits videos, books venues, and manages events.
- Strong evidence of social media growth through personal account or campaign management.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver memorable events within limited budgets.
- Proficient and rapid user of AI tools prioritizing quantity of output over perfection.
- Composed working in ambiguous environments with minimal process, accountable for all marketing functions across channels.
- Preferably located in Los Angeles to support frequent in-person presence.
- Bonus points for existing film/TV production relationships or marketing experience targeting entertainment professionals.
