Role Summary
As a Senior MATLAB Developer, you will specialize in 3D modeling, embedded systems, and simulations using Matlab and Simulink. Your responsibilities include advanced test case design, validation of chassis subsystems such as steering and braking, test engineering, and configuration management using Git, focusing on MIL, SIL, and HIL testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Matlab software features, troubleshoot bugs, and respond to ad-hoc requests ensuring software reliability and alignment with business and client needs.
- Provide ongoing client support through data analysis, ticket resolution, and daily support operations, facilitating the timely completion of assigned objectives.
- Generate and maintain documentation on enhancements and compliance consistent with CMMI standards to ensure comprehensive recording and communication of client requirements.
- Offer technical mentorship to junior Matlab developers, promoting collaborative development best practices.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, clarify, and verify requirements for new feature development and improvements in line with project goals.
Skills and Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Matlab for embedded systems applications.
- Experience with Simulink for dynamic system modeling and simulation.
- Familiarity with CMMI-aligned documentation processes.
- Basic troubleshooting and debugging competencies within Matlab environments.
- Effective communication abilities for collaborating with clients and team members.
- Additional skills include proficiency with JAMA for test case management, ECU-TEST for automated testing, and Python scripting for automation workflows.
Additional Requirements
- Optional but beneficial certifications include Matlab Certified Associate and CMMI certification.
