Operations Centre Controller

Overview

As CargoX rapidly expands its autonomous delivery fleet across the United Arab Emirates, it is seeking Operations Centre Controllers to manage and support the core command centre overseeing live delivery operations. This position entails vigilant fleet supervision, dispatch coordination, incident reporting, and ongoing assistance to field teams to guarantee uninterrupted delivery services within operational zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the autonomous delivery fleet and real-time delivery activities from the Operations Centre.
• Provide round-the-clock operational support within a shift-based team structure.
• Organize dispatch efforts and maintain seamless delivery operations across active areas.
• Track the status of deliveries, vehicle movements, route progress, exceptions, and operational alerts.
• Accurately document incidents and escalate issues to appropriate operations, field, or technical divisions.
• Coordinate on-ground runner dispatch when necessary.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with field personnel, runners, supervisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive shift handovers, daily summaries, incident logs, and fundamental performance reports.
• Contribute to improving standard operating procedures by identifying recurring challenges and providing operational feedback.
• Ensure all operational data and activities are recorded precisely in alignment with company standards.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in operations control, dispatch, logistics, fleet coordination, last-mile delivery, or related live operations settings.
• Availability and willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and make practical decisions swiftly.
• Strong attention to detail, especially concerning incident reporting and monitoring delivery progress.
• Effective communication skills enabling coordination among control centre, field teams, and internal departments.
• Proficient in utilizing dashboards, tracking systems, reporting formats, and other operational tools.
• Dependable, organized, and strict adherence to standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
• A genuine interest in autonomous delivery technologies, mobility solutions, and advancing last-mile logistics within the UAE market.
