Operations Project Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

This position focuses on steering and executing product-related projects in a fast-moving environment at the Milupa factory in Fulda. The site produces infant and specialized medical nutrition and is part of Danone, working with well-known brands such as Aptamil, Milumil and Neocate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver product-related projects through to completion.
• Handle renovation and innovation initiatives.
• Support productivity programs covering areas such as raw materials and packaging.
• Drive supply-security efforts, including supplier or site approvals and contingency planning.
• Manage quality- and regulatory-driven product changes.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and keep workstreams aligned.
• Activate cross-functional resources to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
• Resolve issues with the team and define clear next steps and recommendations.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide project updates to plant leadership and the regional director platform (Fuel for Growth).
• Ensure milestones are delivered within scope, budget, quality and timeline targets.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 2 years of work experience, ideally in project management or a related area.
• Proven ability to coordinate and guide cross-functional, international teams.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• A structured, analytical, goal-driven and self-directed working style.
• Good command of MS Office; familiarity with project management methods is preferred.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
