Role Overview

In the position of Payroll Associate within the EMEA Payroll team, you will report to the Payroll Supervisor or Manager within the Finance department. This role requires collaboration with various internal teams such as HR, Legal, and Finance, alongside external providers, to manage payroll processes efficiently and adhere to stringent deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all payroll input data is complete and verify trial and final payroll outputs before salary payments are executed.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to capture and accurately process monthly changes, reconciling and explaining any discrepancies.
  • Manage the upload of electronic payroll files and input manual payment instructions into the banking system.
  • Oversee the Payroll mailbox to respond promptly to inquiries and manage correspondence appropriately.
  • Comply with all monthly and annual tax, pension, and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver precise and timely reports for both internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll team to enhance process efficiency, ensure thorough documentation, and maintain SOX compliance.

Candidate Profile and Skills

  • Preferably experienced with EMEA Payroll procedures.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal, with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Able to perform accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines despite a high volume of transactions.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
