Role Overview

We are seeking a Permitting Associate to join our Global Site Launch team, working remotely within the US. This position focuses on coordinating relationships among internal teams, external partners, and city authorities concerning site permitting activities. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic team-oriented setting and possesses strong administrative skills to facilitate drone Nest site permits by effectively liaising with municipal authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing comprehensive permit application packages, collaborate with project designers and Wing partners, and represent the company at municipal meetings strategically.
  • Engage actively with regulatory processes by monitoring changes and developments that may affect projects.
  • Coordinate schedules, deliverables, and statuses for all permits with internal and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project progress from start to permit approval.
  • Manage permit applications by gathering necessary documentation from engineering teams, securing approvals, and serving as the primary contact between Wing and partners.
  • Prepare and submit permits in alignment with agency and regulatory standards, updating issued documents accurately.
  • Maintain a detailed permitting database tracking procedures, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements, and zoning regulations.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure permits are processed timely and maintain transparent communication channels.
  • Travel up to 75% within the US for in-person meetings with AHJs.

Qualifications

  • Over three years of experience obtaining construction and site-related permits from municipal authorities.
  • Solid intermediate knowledge of permitting procedures across various jurisdictions.
