Position Overview

The Personal Shopper role focuses on cultivating lasting connections with customers by offering expert guidance on products, fabric, sizing, trends, and services. Acting as trusted advisors, Personal Shoppers deliver customized shopping experiences, helping clients place orders and discover styles tailored to their needs. Creativity, strong organizational abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact daily with customers via phone, email, digital chat, and SMS to provide detailed information on merchandise, promotions, events, policies, and services.
• Build and nurture customer relationships through personalized, knowledgeable advice on styling and brand offerings.
• Develop a customer base by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong engagement with existing customers.
• Offer product recommendations rooted in expert knowledge and customer preferences.
• Plan and execute business growth strategies independently to enhance productivity using suggestive selling techniques and fostering strong customer rapport.
• Meet or exceed personal and business sales targets along with key performance indicators.
• Utilize sales technologies and tools effectively to operate seamlessly across all sales channels.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an optimal customer experience.
• Contribute to a positive workplace environment through teamwork and mutual support.
• Maintain constructive internal relationships across departments.
• Provide timely feedback and follow-ups with management as requested.

Qualifications

• At least four years of proven experience serving as a personal shopper, stylist, retail employee, or manager.
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Strong background in customer service roles with demonstrated selling abilities.
• Proficient with technology frequently used in retail environments, including email, chat platforms, SMS, and CRM software such as Salesforce.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fashion trends, especially in children’s apparel styling.
• Keen attentiveness to customers’ preferences, boundaries, and needs.
• Skill in curating appropriate collections for various occasions including everyday use, leisure, and special events.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays (Pacific Time zone), typically covering one weekend shift and four weekday shifts.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook mail merges, and SharePoint.
• Preferred experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Commerce Cloud platforms.

Compensation

The position offers an hourly wage of $20.
