Plant Supervisor

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Plant Supervisor at our Sangareddy factory near Hyderabad to oversee production activities, ensure quality standards, and lead a team in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement production schedules per shift to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Manage and supervise all production operations on the shop floor to maintain smooth workflow and minimize downtime.
• Remain actively involved on the production floor, collaborating closely with team members during processing.
• Ensure that all products comply with approved recipes and manufacturing process parameters.
• Oversee production of fresh chilled fish, meat, and poultry, guaranteeing consistent quality and flavor.
• Conduct routine inspections to uphold food safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout production.
• Lead and motivate a production team of 20-30 members per shift, ensuring work is executed efficiently and with discipline.
• Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and corrections to enhance team performance.
• Supervise packing and freezing operations by enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging, labeling, and product handling.
• Coordinate with the packing team to ensure finished products are promptly moved to proper chillers or freezers, maintaining correct storage conditions and product traceability.
• Guarantee adherence to food safety compliance such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and internal quality protocols.
• Maintain precise production documentation including shift reports, wastage records, and manpower utilization logs.
• Promptly report deviations, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to the Production Manager or Plant Head.
