Role overview
OfficeMax New Zealand is seeking a Pricing Implementation Analyst to help shape pricing outcomes for its business customers. In this position, you will bring strong analytical capability, commercial judgement, and attention to detail to support pricing analysis and execution across a B2B environment.
The role reports to the Pricing Implementation Manager and is based at the company’s Head Office in Highbrook, Auckland, with hybrid working options. It involves partnering with sales teams and other internal stakeholders to improve pricing decisions and support commercial performance.
OfficeMax operates as a complex sales and distribution business, serving more than 40,000 business customers across Aotearoa, from small and medium-sized businesses to large national organisations. Key responsibilities
- Apply segment, category, and customer pricing approaches to support and deliver pricing strategy.
- Produce accurate, timely analysis that improves the quality of pricing decisions.
- Work with large datasets to extract commercial insights and guide business choices.
- Maintain pricing master data with a high level of accuracy.
- Contribute to pricing implementation projects and related activities.
- Share commercial findings with stakeholders and explain suggested improvements clearly.
- Identify potential risks and propose practical ways to reduce them.
- Assist the sales team with customer questions and pricing-related requests.
