Job Overview

Reporting to the Principal Engineering Leader, the Process Manager’s primary role is to ensure that all Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes strictly adhere to the standards set by airworthiness authorities, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and customer requirements. The position leads the maintenance of special processes and laboratory activities, oversees continuous improvement efforts based on Lean-Sigma methodologies, and guarantees compliance with both technical and regulatory obligations.

The role requires providing expert technical guidance to address and resolve process-related challenges, establishing and validating new process capabilities, and collaborating across multiple Value Streams to promote ongoing improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain robust processes and methods ensuring compliance with airworthiness, OEM, and regulatory standards through systematic audits and subsequent corrective action plans.
  • Drive initiatives embracing Lean-Sigma techniques, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Ergonomics, and standardization of best practices for special processes across all Value Streams.
  • Manage and implement improvement projects utilizing Lean-Sigma approaches aligned with Policy Deployment objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the repair and overhaul of landing gears and related components.
  • Set up and qualify new special process capabilities, overseeing planning, validation, and certification stages.
  • Conduct technical training and facilitate knowledge transfer to workshop and process personnel to enhance internal expertise and operational standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A recognized Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience in special processes.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role within the aerospace manufacturing and/or MRO sector.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory or managerial experience leading process or production teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations and airworthiness compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to apply Lean principles, tools, and improvement methodologies with a successful history of implementing value-adding projects.
