Processing Team Leader

About the Role

Join NZ Post in Whanganui as a Processing Team Leader and play a crucial role in improving the daily output of a team handling the sorting of products and parcels. With parcel volumes rising, this role is vital in maintaining our dynamic national network. You'll lead a team of Processing Officers to meet established processing standards and performance goals.

This leadership position requires a hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety, fostering a positive and high-achieving team culture, and collaborating with truck drivers and contractors. Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks such as managing rostering, payroll, and other operational functions. The shift schedule is Tuesday to Saturday from 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the 178 Ridgway Street depot in Whanganui.

• Current OSH FL Certificate or F Endorsement, or willingness to obtain one

Working Hours and Compensation

• Permanent full-time position
• Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM
• Hourly pay rate: NZD 33.90 plus night shift allowance between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM
• Location: 178 Ridgway Street, Whanganui
