Role Overview

The Procurement Manager role, based full-time onsite in Sunyani Municipal District, Bono Region, involves overseeing the entire procurement process for medical supplies. Core responsibilities include identifying supply needs, sourcing products, evaluating and managing supplier relations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely product delivery. This role requires coordination with internal teams for demand forecasting and inventory management, while maintaining accurate records and optimizing supply chain costs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in procurement and supplier assessment within the medical or healthcare sectors.
• Strong contract negotiation and management capabilities to secure advantageous and compliant agreements.
• Analytical aptitude to evaluate data and costs to guide purchasing decisions.
• Effective communication skills to work cooperatively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
• Preferably, professional experience in supply chain or purchasing roles, especially related to healthcare.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, procurement, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Competence with procurement software, ERP platforms, and office tools, along with strong organizational and time management skills.
