Role summary

The company is looking for a Procurement Officer to support construction project delivery. The role involves identifying suitable suppliers and subcontractors, collecting competitive quotations, managing material procurement activities, and making sure deliveries arrive on time and meet the required specifications, quality expectations, and company procedures. You will collaborate with both project and procurement teams to keep buildings and civil works moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and engage suppliers and subcontractors that meet project needs.
• Collect quotations, compare offers, and support value-based purchasing decisions.
• Work with the Procurement and Project teams on material requisitions and related follow-up.
• Keep procurement records updated and monitor ongoing purchasing activity.
• Verify that purchased materials match project specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with the storekeeper to confirm material availability.
• Track delivery schedules and follow up to avoid delays.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in villas and civil works.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Working knowledge of procurement software.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Experience in building projects is preferred for applicants to be considered.
• Candidates must already be living in the UAE and should have the required experience.
