About the Role

Bright Purple is partnering with an ambitious product company located in Buckinghamshire at a critical stage. The product build has completed, and the focus has shifted to launching and managing the platform as a dependable live service. They seek a proactive Program Manager who actively eliminates barriers, influences board-level decisions, and enhances release quality rather than passively coordinating tasks. You will be part of a compact, impactful team spanning engineering, product, and operations, providing significant influence over the company's launch and growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain the overall program roadmap by integrating planning inputs and future forecasts from all workstreams.
  • Act as a liaison between the delivery teams and launch-readiness efforts, maintaining transparency with and influence over the leadership.
  • Manage delivery expenditures by forecasting required funding and timing.
  • Guide clients in selecting operating models that ensure the program fulfills its promised value.
  • Collaborate with the board and PMO to establish robust governance frameworks and proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experienced in program management or digital transformation with a track record of leading change initiatives from inception to delivery, preferably within a product launch environment.
  • Proficient in major delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Holds professional certifications like MSP, PRINCE2, APMQ, or Scrum Master.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of resolving conflicts and driving momentum in complex organizational structures.
  • Familiarity with Service Design principles and the Microsoft Azure/Dynamics technology stack is advantageous.
  • Must have full legal right to work in the UK.

Benefits and Working Conditions

  • Competitive salary up to £90,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working model with two days per week in the Buckinghamshire office.
  • 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Private healthcare coverage.
  • Company pension plan.
  • Life insurance coverage.

Equal Opportunities

Bright Purple values diversity and inclusion and collaborates with clients who share these principles.
