About the Role
Neos Advisors Ltd., a Canadian project management and advisory company, is seeking a Project Coordinator for construction and infrastructure projects based in Alberta and British Columbia. This is a contract role onsite, offering a pathway for career advancement into Project Management. The company specializes in supporting Indigenous Nations and growing enterprises within the construction sector by providing expertise in capacity planning, project execution, and commercial advisory, emphasizing measurable results and culturally informed relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers during project planning, execution phases, and ongoing monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and office personnel.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules while monitoring progress against set milestones.
- Manage essential project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and change orders.
- Support financial tracking activities such as cost monitoring, progress claims, and reporting processes.
- Generate project status reports, record meeting minutes, and maintain daily logs.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in project coordination or project support, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Exposure to pipeline, mining, oil & gas, or heavy civil construction environments is a valued asset.
- Exceptional organizational skills combined with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with document control or project management software.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
