About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Python Developer based in Dallas, TX for a full-time position open to candidates of any visa status. This role involves designing and implementing software solutions primarily using Python, with emphasis on data processing through Spark and PySpark.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust software applications leveraging Python.
- Create Python and PySpark modules to support data analysis activities.
- Develop custom Python frameworks for rule generation, functioning similarly to rules engines.
- Write Python scripts to extract data from HBase and design scalable solutions utilizing PySpark.
- Perform business data transformations using Apache Spark DataFrames and RDDs and manage read/write operations with Hive Contexts.
- Develop and manage backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless database integration.
- Enhance application performance, enforce security standards, and maintain code quality and stability.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and application issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent skills in Python programming and hands-on experience with Apache Spark and PySpark.
