Quality Controller

About the Role

The Quality Controller will collaborate closely with the Quality Manager to uphold Quality Control and HACCP procedures daily. This role requires examining and testing all produce to guarantee the highest standards are met for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections at various production stages including intake, repack, and the finished product.
• Maintain daily records such as intake and dispatch checks; send quality reports to suppliers; continuously assess raw material quality and relay any issues to production or purchasing teams.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with HACCP principles to maintain product safety and process control.
• Adhere to BRC standards, ensuring full traceability is maintained for all product lines.
• Verify traceability for every delivery and proactively communicate with suppliers to secure traceability documentation beforehand.
• Support regular internal audits and guarantee the factory complies with all health, safety, and quality regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferred qualification: Degree in Food Science or a related subject (not mandatory).
• At least 1 year of experience in Quality roles or 3 years in production.
• Mandatory certifications: BRC / IFS Food Safety, HACCP, Bord Bia, Food Service and Retailer Codes of Practice, along with knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
