Job Overview
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and conducting thorough inspections at various stages of the production process to ensure product quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and final products adhering to specifications.
- Utilize quality management methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, and Poka Yoke to enhance process reliability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection documentation to support both internal and external audits.
- Ensure all quality standards and safety protocols are fully met during operations.
- Keep precise records of test outcomes and inspection results.
- Engage actively in initiatives aimed at continual process and quality improvement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to comprehend and work with technical engineering drawings.
- Experience with quality tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Poka Yoke.
- Skilled in performing various stages of inspection including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Competent in maintaining accurate quality documentation for audits.
- Knowledgeable about compliance with established quality and safety standards.
