Job Overview

This role entails supporting a research initiative investigating mental health concerns among large animal veterinarians operating in rural regions of Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and organize interviews with rural veterinary professionals.
• Recruit participants for the study effectively.
• Review, systematize, and manage qualitative data.
• Conduct data analysis to derive meaningful insights.
• Contribute to the drafting of research reports and manuscripts.
• Assist in preparing and delivering presentations related to the project.

Qualifications and Skills

• An undergraduate or graduate degree holder, or recent graduate, specialized in Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
• A keen interest in topics related to mental health, rural health, or veterinary science research.
• Experience with qualitative research methodologies is advantageous.
• Commitment to promoting and valuing diversity in the workplace.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position with hours typically scheduled Monday to Friday during core working hours.
