Role overview
This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires regular travel to other cities. The Retail Manager will oversee the overall performance, execution quality, and day-to-day coordination of the retail store network, working directly with store managers and store teams.
The role is centered on improving sales through KPI monitoring, disciplined operations, an active on-ground presence, and consistent execution in a luxury fragrance retail setting. It is best suited to someone who enjoys a practical leadership role, has a strong interest in retail, people, and fragrances, and performs well in a fast-moving, high-growth business.
Key responsibilities
- Take full accountability for retail performance across the stores under supervision.
- Monitor and interpret key performance indicators such as sales, conversion, ATV, UPT, productivity, and profitability.
- Push store teams to meet sales and performance goals.
- Convert performance information into clear actions that lead to measurable improvement.
- Hold regular performance discussions with store managers.
- Maintain a results-focused mindset and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
- Serve as the direct reporting manager for store managers and store teams.
- Communicate goals, priorities, and expectations clearly and consistently.
- Keep track of store execution, discipline, and overall performance.
- Manage performance issues in a structured, objective, and solution-oriented way.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management in partnership with HR.
- Oversee the operations of existing stores and keep the retail network running smoothly.
- Make sure stores are always prepared for business.
- Spot operational problems and put workable fixes in place.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, mall rules, and brand standards.
- Track maintenance, repairs, and other operational requirements.
- Maintain frequent field visits across Riyadh and other regions.
- Assess stores based on sales performance, execution, merchandising, and overall condition.
- Share clear written follow-up actions after each visit.
- Step in and support stores whenever additional help is needed.
- Ensure merchandising reflects luxury positioning and brand expectations.
- Review displays, testers, POSM, and product presentation.
- Keep visual execution detailed, polished, and consistent.
- Coordinate with brand partners on product launches and merchandising changes.
- Use merchandising to support commercial results.
- Take an active role in new store openings.
- Support operational readiness, staffing, and execution for launches.
- Help ensure new stores open smoothly and stabilize quickly after opening.
- Contribute to expansion plans for the retail network.

Education and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related area is preferred.
- Relevant professional experience in retail management may be accepted in place of formal education.
- Prior experience managing retail stores with direct reporting lines is required.
- Experience handling multiple stores is an advantage.
- Background in luxury, premium, or fragrance retail is strongly preferred.
- A solid understanding of retail KPIs and operational performance is needed.
- Frequent travel should be acceptable for this position.
