Role Overview
This position centers on direct sales and marketing of Vaporesso and Dojo products in the UK's fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) retail sector. The successful candidate will proactively approach convenience stores and tobacco retailers to promote product uptake and boost sales revenue.
Key Duties
- Conduct frequent face-to-face visits to retail outlets including convenience and tobacco shops to actively market and sell Vaporesso/Dojo merchandise.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with store proprietors and decision makers to identify further sales opportunities.
- Monitor and report on competitors' activities, pricing strategies, and customer preferences in the vaping and FMCG retail segments to inform headquarters for sales and marketing adjustments.
- Negotiate shelf allocation and in-store recognition, implementing promotional campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
- Support in-store promotional events, roadshows, and industry-specific gatherings to advance sales and brand engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: High school diploma.
- Demonstrable experience in direct FMCG sales, preferably within retail channels, with a strong record of meeting or surpassing sales goals through direct store engagement and negotiations.
- Experience in e-cigarette, tobacco, or similar FMCG sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in cold calling and door-to-door sales tactics.
- Possess a valid driver's license and readiness to travel extensively within the designated area.
- Knowledge of local FMCG market dynamics and main competitors.
