Security Administrator

Professional Certifications Required

Candidates must possess the following certifications:

• CompTIA Security+
• CompTIA Network+
• Microsoft Security Certifications
• Relevant product-specific certifications such as those for PAM, Firewall, and Email Security systems

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. They are expected to have between six to eight years of practical experience in information security operations or security administration. Experience in banking or financial services sectors is highly valued, particularly knowledge of banking processes and procedures.

Skills and Expertise

The role requires proficiency with privileged access management (PAM), identity and access management (IAM), security hardening, vulnerability management, Office 365 security, and various security platforms. Candidates should also demonstrate familiarity with security tools, configuration best practices, system administration, risk analysis, disaster recovery, and contingency planning.

Personal Attributes

Ideal candidates will have strong teamwork abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication capabilities both verbally and in writing. They should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Additional Responsibilities

Experience with audit remediation and ensuring security compliance is expected, along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
