About the Role

The business is seeking a proactive, inquisitive and team-oriented Security Operations Analyst to join the security function. This role offers the chance to work with experienced security specialists while building capability across threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response and cloud security.

The position is well suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, learning continuously and contributing to the protection of important systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular security monitoring, including daily checks, threat intelligence review and vulnerability assessment.
• Investigate new and emerging threats and partner with technology teams to understand possible business impact.
• Support security incident response work, assist with investigations and help improve incident management processes over time.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Spot weaknesses in security monitoring, alerting and audit controls and help address them.
• Assist in delivering secure technology services in a 24x7 operating environment.
• Work alongside the Security, Risk and Digital Operations Manager on operational security activities and initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems or software development, along with an interest in information security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and PCI DSS.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and a willingness to grow cloud security skills.
• Background in IT support, infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• A continuous-improvement mindset and curiosity to learn modern technologies and security practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple technology teams.
