Role Summary

The Senior Project Manager role is a contract position located in Auckland, New Zealand, adopting a hybrid work structure combining onsite collaboration and some remote work. The individual will lead complex technology and transformation programs, managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and coordination of cross-functional teams.
• Manage stakeholders and facilitate communication between clients, technical groups, and vendors.
• Monitor project progress, including status reporting and risk tracking.
• Resolve issues and dependencies while driving governance and continuous improvement.
• Align deliverables with business objectives and support change management processes.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation, compliance adherence, and reporting accuracy.

Candidate Qualifications

• Strong expertise in project management principles, including planning, execution, stakeholder management, and risk/issue tracking.
• Experience with expediting activities to guarantee the timely supply of project materials and services.
• Inspection skills for overseeing quality assurance, compliance checks, and deliverables verification.
• Competent management skills for resource coordination, financial oversight, and project operations support.
• Educational background preferably includes a bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, business, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum, plus experience in cloud, data, or digital transformation initiatives, are advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing complex multi-vendor projects.
• Ability to effectively work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with global teams, adjusting to shifting priorities and client demands.
