Position Overview
The Shipping Administrator will manage shipping activities and courier service processes, acting as a liaison between the plant and the distribution center. Key duties include handling letter of credit documents related to courier services and coordinating weekly scrap sales involving vendors and the finance team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee shipping operations.
- Manage courier service processing and shipments.
- Coordinate scrap sales with vendors and finance on a weekly basis.
- Perform audits on daily transfer form data between Plant and DSDC.
- Facilitate communication and coordination for shipping requests between DSDC and plant.
- Handle activities such as hand-carrying documents, consignments, and SRMD materials.
- Process courier service requests and arrange shipments accordingly.
- Manage courier Letter of Credit (L/C) documentation.
- Execute special assignments as needed.
