Role and Responsibilities
The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire execution of bridge construction projects, from foundation stages to the superstructure. The role demands practical experience in RCC and PSC bridge construction, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule with strict adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Manage and supervise bridge construction activities such as foundation, substructure, superstructure, launching, and finishing operations.
- Ensure that all work aligns with approved plans, method statements, and project requirements.
- Liaise and coordinate with planning teams, quality control, survey units, billing departments, subcontractors, and client/consultant representatives.
- Monitor and optimize the use of labor, machinery, and materials to meet project targets.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Compile daily progress reports and maintain comprehensive site documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges on-site to support timely completion of the project.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience working on bridge projects with agencies such as NHAI, MoRTH, Railways, or State Highway Authorities.
- Exemplary leadership and team management capabilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate to various project locations across India as required.
Eligibility
Candidates holding a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) are encouraged to apply.
Salary
The compensation range for this position is between 800000 to 1500000 INR annually.
