Software Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate)

About the Role

An opportunity is available for an early-career Software Engineer to join the product development team. The position focuses on contributing to application design, build, and upkeep while receiving guidance from experienced engineers and expanding technical capability on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Help build, test, and release software applications.
• Work with senior engineers to identify, diagnose, and fix technical problems.
• Take part in code reviews and adhere to established coding standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for technical designs and system workflows.
• Assist with integration tasks, debugging, and improving system performance.
• Join discussions on system architecture and upcoming product features.
• Keep learning new tools, languages, and practices to strengthen engineering skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Fundamental knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Exposure to databases, APIs, and version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of software development basics and the SDLC.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Comfort working as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop in a fast-moving technology environment.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Practical exposure from internships or personal projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Django.
• Some awareness of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of Agile development practices is preferred.
