Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the core platform components, from data ingestion and the ontology framework to the applications utilized daily by manufacturers on the shop floor. The role encompasses backend and frontend development, performance optimization, and tooling, allowing you to contribute where your expertise is most impactful. You will take full ownership of features from conception through production and collaborate directly with both founders and customers.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Develop maintainable, well-tested, and efficient code.
• Manage problem-solving processes from initial design to deployment.
• Participate actively in writing and reviewing RFC documents.
• Proficient in at least one of the following technologies: React, Python, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Adapt well to the dynamic environment typical of early-stage startups.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL, DuckDB, or lakehouse data formats.
• Familiarity with containerization and infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or AWS.
• Knowledge of machine learning and large language model systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
• Experience with semantic web technologies like SPARQL, RDF, SHACL, SHA-EX, Turtle, or OWL.
