Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with 3 to 5 years of expertise to design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions. This position specifically focuses on MS SQL Server technologies and emphasizes optimizing performance to support enterprise-level applications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and sustain SQL Server databases and associated database objects.
• Create and enhance stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and complex queries.
• Optimize database queries and implement performance tuning methods.
• Analyze execution plans and troubleshoot queries that exhibit slow performance.
• Provide backend support for application integration and data processing needs.
• Continuously monitor database health and promptly address production-related issues.
• Maintain data integrity, enforce security protocols, and oversee backup and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and users to gather requirements and deploy solutions.
• Document technical details and assist with application deployment activities.

Essential Skills & Expertise

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server platform.
• Experienced in developing and maintaining stored procedures.
• Skilled in managing functions, views, and triggers.
• Familiarity with advanced SQL constructs such as joins, common table expressions (CTEs), and temporary tables.
• Knowledgeable about indexing and partitioning strategies to improve database efficiency.
• Expertise in query optimization and performance tuning techniques.
• Competent in execution plan analysis.
• Ability to monitor database environment and troubleshoot issues.
