About Upstart

Upstart is driven by a mission to fundamentally lower the cost and complexity of borrowing for individuals across America. Leveraging advanced AI and continuous innovation, we transform access to credit, supporting millions of customers with transparency and confidence. Our AI-powered lending platform runs over a million predictions per borrower, using extensive signals to enable smarter, fairer lending decisions. While our impact is evident in the numbers, it’s the collective contribution of every team member that pushes us towards a future where credit never impedes financial progress.

We operate as a digital-first organization, providing team members the flexibility to work from preferred locations, with regular in-person interactions to foster creativity and teamwork. Our offices in Columbus, Austin, the Bay Area, and a forthcoming New York City location (expected Summer 2026) offer spaces for collaborative engagement alongside remote work options.
