Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic and proactive Technical Sales Executive to join our team at Starshield Technologies Private Limited. This hybrid role combines on-site project management with advanced technical sales of StarShield's innovative paint and coating products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise proper application of StarShield’s paints, waterproofing materials, and nano-coatings at customer locations.
- Collaborate with applicators and site teams to ensure timely and quality job execution.
- Conduct surface preparation inspections, trial applications, and ensure quality control during projects.
- Offer technical assistance and product demonstrations to clients, engineers, and contractors.
- Identify and resolve site issues by providing suitable technical solutions during or after the application process.
- Develop new business by identifying prospective clients such as builders, contractors, architects, industries, and government bodies.
- Generate leads through in-person visits, cold calling, and networking.
- Create tailored technical proposals highlighting the benefits of products for client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales while consistently achieving monthly targets.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, client interactions, and progress updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure prompt material dispatch and order processing.
- Provide market feedback and share competitor intelligence with management.
- Prepare regular MIS reports on sales status and project performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or B.Tech degree in Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in technical sales or site execution within the paints, coatings, or construction chemicals sector.
- Proficient use of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of paint application methods and waterproofing technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and sales abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with hands-on approach at project sites.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
