About the Role
We are seeking a fresh graduate passionate about Build, Release, and Cloud Infrastructure Automation to join as a Trainee Application Deployment Engineer based in Pune, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end configuration and support of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, working collaboratively with QA and Development teams to develop and maintain scalable, automated deployment pipelines aligned with release requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (build and release) for .NET applications and Microsoft SQL database operations.
- Partner with Development and QA teams to integrate source control, build, and deployment processes in Azure Repos and Pipelines.
- Provide technical assistance on pipeline and release issues to both offshore and onshore teams.
- Work with IT teams on pipeline health monitoring, preventative maintenance, and automation updates.
- Perform daily build and release tasks, monitor automated pipelines, and manage work items in Azure Boards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Solid computer knowledge and strong communication skills.

- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts.
- Fundamental understanding of Azure DevOps Services (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and CI/CD concepts.
- Basic familiarity with IP networking and DNS concepts including Ethernet IP, TCP/IP ports, and domain names, plus knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience or exposure to scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, YAML, or Microsoft Azure basics is an advantage.

Additional Preferred Skills
- Good troubleshooting abilities, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with containerization basics (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Educational background in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400) are favorable.
