Job Description

This role involves functioning as a Consultant or Associate Consultant primarily focused on SAP Ariba business solutions. The responsibilities include proposing, configuring, documenting, and testing SAP business applications that meet functional and technical requirements. The candidate will analyze and implement changes based on change requests and must maintain professional communication with client stakeholders across all levels.

Effective collaboration and reporting on project progress, risks, and issues are expected. The role requires independent information gathering, research, and comprehensive analysis to resolve production issues and customer requests, escalating when necessary. There is also a need to understand the project lifecycle and operate with minimal supervision.

Problem Management

The candidate will investigate system and service problems, assist in remedy implementations, and provide applications support. Responsibilities include severity assessment, issue ownership until resolution, and maintenance tasks consistent with procedures. Application management tools will be used to gather performance data.

Qualifications and Experience

Possession of 2 to 3 years experience in SAP or Ariba.
Prior involvement in at least one support project across various levels.
Experience with at least one end-to-end implementation.

Technical Skills

Strong comprehension of SAP Ariba modules, with expertise in two or more areas including Strategic Sourcing, Buying, and Invoicing.
Understanding of Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement, and Invoicing.
Familiarity with the SAP Ariba Suite and related integrations.
Knowledge of SAP MM, SD, and logistics is advantageous.
Excellent documentation skills.
Ability to use SAP connect for knowledge resources, updates, and service requests.
