About the Role
Join UtiliQuest, LLC as a Trainee Utility Locator where you will acquire safety knowledge and techniques to accurately locate underground utility lines. Collaborate with skilled locators and utilize specialized tools to support safe and efficient construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Acquire utility locating methods and safety procedures.
- Understand local utility infrastructure and regulations.
- Work alongside experienced locators to mark underground utilities.
- Use utility locating equipment effectively.
- Record findings digitally using mapping technologies.
- Perform duties in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
- Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Hold a valid non-provisional state driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly work independently in remote locations, perform tasks requiring arm elevation, vehicle operation, fine motor skills, bending, stooping, standing, walking, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Occasionally use portable ladders, work in confined spaces, and climb stairs.
