Utility Worker

Role overview

Elior Collegiate Dining is hiring a utility worker for its onsite campus dining operation in Albany, Georgia. In this position, you will help keep sanitation activities running smoothly and support day-to-day tasks so work is completed efficiently.

Key duties

• Clean floors and dining tables, and help keep common serving areas tidy.
• Refill supplies in the dining space as needed.
• Collect waste and dispose of it correctly.
• Receive incoming inventory and place items in storage.
• Wash, sanitize, and maintain dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, the dish room, and related items.

What the employer is looking for

The ideal candidate should follow safe work practices, use good judgment, and be comfortable working on their own as well as collaboratively with others. Previous experience in food service or a maintenance-related role is considered an advantage.

Pay

Compensation is listed at $12 to $17 per hour.
