BreatheSafe is an Australian company dedicated to the innovation, manufacture, and distribution of cutting-edge dust control and air quality solutions. Our products serve various industries impacted by dust or airborne contaminants, both within Australia and internationally. We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a dependable and proactive Warehouse Assistant (Fabrication Workshop Assistant) to join our Carole Park, Queensland team.
Role Overview
This is a permanent full-time position within our Brisbane Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse and workshop operations, manage materials and inventory, operate forklifts, and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery (a valid forklift license is mandatory).
- Inspect metal parts and kits to ensure quality and accuracy prior to shipment.
- Make timely and safe deliveries to the Assembly facility and nearby locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and warehouse areas.
- Unload shipping containers and assist with manual tasks requiring lifting up to 20 kilograms.
- Monitor stock levels and support stocktaking activities.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 5:30 AM to 2:45 PM
- Friday: 5:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Every alternate Friday off, providing a long weekend.
- Flexibility is required as working hours may occasionally shift to accommodate business needs such as stocktakes.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in manufacturing or fabrication settings highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of quality assurance and metal fabrication advantageous.
- Must hold current forklift and driver's licenses.
- Familiarity with inventory management software such as Cin7 or NetSuite, or willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
- Physically able to lift loads up to 20 kilograms.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach and commitment to quality.
