Role Overview

This role involves developing and ensuring the execution of manufacturing processes on projects in line with industry standards, project plans, and installation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in calculating welding hours and assessing capacity and capabilities related to welding activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the welding shop primarily as a manufacturing engineer.
  • Interpret and review customer and industry welding specifications and standards.
  • Offer technical input to design engineering teams during design review phases.
  • Engage in departmental technical discussions and share lessons learned experiences.
  • Demonstrate commitment to quality, health, safety, and environment by participating in related initiatives.
  • Manage workflow and documentation control for machining procedures related to projects.
  • Ensure Design for Excellence (DFX) practices are implemented.
  • Participate in audit preparations ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.
  • Assist with tendering processes and product engineering quotations.
  • Attend daily coordination meetings such as Notification Review Board and Obeya sessions.

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline.
