Role overview
The Workplace Agent serves as the first point of contact in the office, helping deliver a smooth and professional workplace experience. The role combines reception, concierge-style support, meeting room coordination, mail handling, access control, and general office services to ensure employees, clients, and visitors feel welcomed and supported.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome employees and visitors courteously and assist them with day-to-day needs.
- Handle front-desk tasks, including access passes, lockers, and general workplace enquiries.
- Support booking of meeting rooms, set up events, and troubleshoot basic AV issues.
- Respond promptly to helpdesk requests and work with other workplace teams when required.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier activity, and routine office supplies.
- Assist with site checks, floor inspections, and escalation of service issues when needed.
- Help maintain adherence to workplace, safety, and security procedures.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or reception-focused position. You should be a confident communicator who enjoys service-based work, stays organised under pressure, and can manage multiple priorities effectively. Intermediate Microsoft Office ability is required, along with a proactive, friendly, and practical approach to problem-solving. Strong attention to detail and a polished professional manner are important. Completion of Year 12 is expected, and extra education in hospitality or administration is considered an advantage.
