About the internship
This in-office business development internship is focused on sales outreach, lead generation, client follow-ups, and CRM hygiene. The role supports Cloudshope’s sales efforts by identifying prospects, initiating contact, arranging demos, and coordinating with the sales team to move opportunities forward.
What you’ll do
- Source new business leads from LinkedIn, Google, IndiaMART, Justdial, and other B2B channels.
- Place outbound cold calls to prospective customers.
- Send follow-up emails and WhatsApp messages to keep prospects engaged.
- Book product demonstrations and meetings for interested leads.
- Enter and maintain lead information, call logs, and follow-up progress in the CRM.
- Stay on top of follow-ups with potential customers in a timely manner.
- Build a working understanding of Cloudshope’s products and services.
- Track daily sales activity and report progress consistently.
- Work toward daily targets for lead generation and calling.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and requirements.
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner at all times.
- Finish assigned work within the expected deadlines.
- Take initiative, own assigned tasks, and look for new opportunities proactively.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality.
