Opportunity
Primary Health Care Ltd (PHCL) is seeking a capable administration professional to oversee reception and administrative operations across its NorthCare Medical Centres. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can bring energy, strong values, and a genuine commitment to service quality.
The position is ideal for someone looking to step forward in their management career while helping guide and support a team. As the Administration Lead, you will play a key part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly and ensuring the administration function supports both reception and clinic activity effectively.
Key duties
You will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision to the administration team, coordinate office support for reception and clinic workflows, and help maintain efficient systems and processes across the practice.
The role also includes responsibility for people-related functions such as hiring, performance management, and arranging staff training and development.
This is a permanent, full-time, onsite role reporting to the Regional Business Manager.

- Confidence using computer systems and office software; experience with Indici would be an advantage.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and switch between priorities as needed.
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori, and other cultural competencies, along with cultural confidence and a strong focus on reducing inequities.
