About the Role
We are collaborating with a distinguished financial services company to recruit an Administrative Manager to lead and nurture a substantial administrative team based in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a dynamic operational leader passionate about cultivating high-performing teams, establishing consistent processes, and delivering exceptional support to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of roughly 40 administrative staff, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
- Conduct regular evaluations, coaching, and career development discussions.
- Oversee staffing strategies including scheduling, coverage, and resource management.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify support requirements and guarantee outstanding service delivery.
- Address employee relations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
- Create and enforce administrative policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Track productivity metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain uniform standards and quality across the administrative function.
- Work in partnership with HR and leadership on talent growth and succession planning.
- Encourage a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive background in managing administrative teams within corporate settings.
- Proven experience supervising large groups, preferably exceeding 30 employees.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and development skills.
- Excellent organizational and operational management capabilities.
- Skilled in employee relations and performance management.
- Adept at fostering relationships across organizational levels.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience in professional services sectors such as finance, legal, consulting is advantageous.
- Highly proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused in fast-paced environments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging between $180,000 and $220,000, dependent on experience.
