Architectural Draftsman (AutoCAD Architecture)

Position Overview

Caravane Earth, located in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman proficient in AutoCAD Architecture. This full-time role involves creating precise architectural drawings, from initial concepts to detailed construction documents, supporting our projects focused on regenerative design and heritage inspiration.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce architectural plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
• Create comprehensive drawing packages necessary for planning, tendering, and construction phases.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants to ensure coordinated drawings.
• Uphold CAD standards by managing drawing registers and controlling revisions meticulously.
• Generate accurate technical documentation and schedules as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology is required.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced expertise in AutoCAD Architecture is essential; proficiency in standard AutoCAD alone is insufficient.
• Solid knowledge of construction detailing, building materials, and documentation practices.
• Strong English communication skills are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in traditional architecture, heritage conservation, or ecological design is advantageous.
• Familiarity with software such as Revit, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
