Job Overview
As the Assistant Director for Continuous Education & Development within the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS), you will be tasked with spearheading and nurturing a culture of ongoing learning beyond the conventional classroom. You will formulate and implement policies that drive continuous learning across the DIS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop continuous training programmes for DIS personnel while promoting a culture valuing lifelong learning.
- Operationalise training initiatives and accreditation pathways outside traditional structures to enhance technical trade skills and enable personnel to broaden competencies beyond their core specialties.
- Interpret organizational needs for multi-domain skill development and convert them into strategic learning plans and career development pathways.
- Forge and cultivate external partnerships, programmes, and investments to expand the learning ecosystem.
- Design and manage a scalable, enterprise-wide digital education platform tailored for DIS.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance digital literacy education within the organization.
Challenges
- Possess comprehensive understanding of DIS missions, vocations, and the developmental requirements of diverse job families.
- Develop scalable, accredited learning frameworks by synthesizing environmental trends and organizational insights to meet DIS personnel’s evolving competencies.
Candidate Profile
- Formal education in any academic discipline.
- Preferably a minimum of 13 years’ experience in training, development, or related fields.
- Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management, planning, and organizational capabilities.
- Effective skills in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Analytical ability to assess organizational requirements and devise impactful learning solutions.
